Zendaya, Tom Holland step out for first red carpet in 4 years

After a five-year "Spider-Man" hiatus, Zendaya and Tom Holland are drumming up excitement for the next installment, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day."

The real-life couple, who may or may not be married, according to stylist Law Roach, brought the press tour for the fourth "Spider-Man" film into full swing with an appearance at the movie's press call in Madrid on Monday, June 25.

Their red carpet session was a rare public outing for the couple, who famously keep their private lives under wraps. Amid widespread rumors about a new ring that started appearing on Zendaya's left hand at the beginning of 2025, which were followed by speculation about the veracity of Roach's comment that the couple's wedding "already happened," the actors have stayed mum.

The last time Holland and Zendaya walked a red carpet together was the Los Angeles premiere of "Spider-Man: No Way Home" on Dec. 13, 2021.

While Zendaya, 29, sported a simple gold band on her ring finger, Holland's hands were bare.

In "Brand New Day," Holland, 30, reprises his role as Peter Parker – except not really. He's now going by Maynard following the events of 2021's "Spider-Man: No Way Home," which left fans on a cliffhanger after everyone, even girlfriend MJ (Zendaya) and best friend Ned (Jacob Batalon) lost all memories of the young man behind the Spidey mask.

The "Brand New Day" trailer shows Peter navigating his newfound anonymity and finding out that MJ, now an MIT student, moved on with a new love interest. The movie releases in theaters July 31, followed by the next Marvel Cinematic Universe installment, "Avengers: Doomsday," coming Dec. 18.

Zendaya gushed about filming with 'the person that I love'

Zendaya and Holland are also costars in Christopher Nolan's upcoming epic, "The Odyssey," though they reportedly will not share the screen together.

Holland told GQ in an interview published June 2 that he "went to set her first day of work because I just wanted to be there." Zendaya mirrored this support in an Elle interview published May 21, in which she gushed, "I could have cried, I was so proud" watching Holland on "The Odyssey" set.

"And then 'Spider-Man' was a dream; I get to go to work every day with my best friend, the person that I love," she continued. "We bring our dogs to work; it's like a family affair. We grew up on those movies! It's like coming home."
