Posts capturing students' frantic moments inside a school bus that was clipped by a train have gained traction on social media and garnered national attention.
Videos from the April 2 incident in Sumter County, Florida, capture the moment the school bus appears to be on the tracks as a train is approaching with its horn blaring. The bus moves forward, but local reports state there was still a slight collision.
One video taken from inside the school bus shows students screaming and crying as the train passes behind the vehicle after being clipped. While train struck the back of the bus, no injuries were reported.

Local report: Florida bus driver before impact, 'Not gonna stop for no train'
What happened to the Florida bus driver accused of driving vehicle in path of train?
The Herald-Tribune, part of the USA TODAY Network, reported that Yvonne Hampton was driving 29 middle school students home from school when she approached a railroad crossing.
The 67-year-old initially told investigators a car ahead of her prevented her from clearing the tracks, Tampa Free Press reported. However, video evidence showed otherwise. Hampton proceeded onto the tracks despite the already activated railroad warning system.
Hampton was arrested following the collision and faces 29 counts of child neglect as well as charges of culpable negligence and reckless driving, according to local sheriff records. Hampton was released from jail April 7 after posting bond.
Sumter County School District fired Hampton, who had been a driver for the county for more than a decade. Sumter County School District Superintendent Logan Brown said in a taped message that the front left corner of the train struck the back left corner of the bus in the incident.
“When you really understand how close this was, it’s sobering,” Brown said. "A matter of 6 inches is the difference in all of this, and it could have been a catastrophic situation."
