Months after speculation about their wedding began circulating online, Tom Holland finally confirmed that he and Zendaya secretly tied the knot.
During his latest interview with Esquire, Holland addressed viral AI-generated images that showed the actors getting married at Lake Como, Italy. He admitted that his grandmother came across the images and believed the wedding had taken place without her scoring an invite.

When asked whether he had to reassure other family members as well, Holland responded, "No, because they were all there." He then firmly added, "That's all you'll get on that."
Holland's confirmation comes more than three months after Zendaya's stylist, Law Roach, teased the news to Access Hollywood on the red carpet at the 2026 Actor Awards. "The wedding has already happened. You missed it," he said at the time.
Holland also opened up about how his and Zendaya's shared experiences in the industry have allowed them to support each other in uniquely meaningful ways, saying, "Our business can present very stressful situations and it's really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time."

He further explained, "We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it's like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury because I just don't understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else."

Holland went on to gush about his wife, "For me, I found my person. She's my best friend, and I'm the happiest I ever have been when I'm with her, but I also have never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period."

When asked about his first impression of Zendaya, whom he calls Z, during their initial meeting while auditioning for 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming, Holland said, "Obviously, I was super excited at the prospect of working with her and getting to know her."
He added that her audition stood out so well that it was obvious she had secured the part even before she left the room. He recalled, "I remember when she closed the door to leave, [producer] Amy Pascal was immediately like, 'Well, she's getting the job.'"
