Deuxmoi also stressed that neither Taylor nor Kelce had publicly confirmed the name. That kept the claim in rumor territory, even as fan interest grew around the alleged new pup. Meanwhile, the report connected Wendy to “The Sandlot,” the 1993 coming-of-age film.
Fans of the film know Wendy Peffercorn as the lifeguard who caught Squints Palledorous’ attention. Deuxmoi said the movie had “long been rumored” to be one of Kelce’s favorites. The outlet also noted another detail. Wendy Peffercorn’s blonde hair, blue eyes, and red lipstick had drawn comparisons to Swift. That made the alleged name feel tied to both spouses.
