It sounds almost inconceivable, but a long, long time ago — before the era of hidden immunity idols, and Medallions of Power, and cursed hourglasses, and blood moons — there was a young whipper-snapper named Jeff Probst who had the boldness and audacity to host the television program *Survivor* with his hair completely exposed to the elements!

Yes, reality TV’s resident Hostmaster General went topside commando, allowing his luscious locks of hair to sway gently in the breeze as he called challenges. At some point, realizing that completely disregarding sun protection on a show that takes place directly in the sun might not be the best idea, Probst started sporting headgear. And there were some very… shall we say… *curious* choices along the way, including both cowboy and bucket hats because, sure, why not?

At some point, Probst settled on the now-iconic *Survivor* branded baseball hats. But because this rock ‘n’ roll rebel simply can’t be tied down by a single color, he likes to alternate hues. His main rotation now consists of black, blue, and orange. At one point, he was throwing a green lid into the mix, but that one now seems to be as likely to show up as a final two.

But which color reigns supreme? Longtime readers know I am partial to one shade in particular, often issuing emergency #OrangeHatAlerts whenever he sports my personal favorite. However, lord knows I am not the only one with an opinion, especially when it comes to *Survivor* fashion. Which is why I asked the cast of *Survivor 50* to cast their own votes as to the best color in Probst's baseball hat rotation. Will there be a split vote? And then we’ll have to go to rocks? And if we go to rocks, what color will *they* be? Too many questions!
