Savannah Chrisley reveals what her father really thinks of her new relationship.
During the June 15 episode of the Whined Downpodcast, hosted by Jana Kramer, Chrisley, 28, opened up about her relationship and shared that her new boyfriend, whose identity she has not yet disclosed, is much older than she is. When asked how big the age gap between them is, Chrisley responded with, "We're up there."
The TV personality revealed that her father, Todd Chrisley, is "not too fond" of their age gap, but said that "he loves him." While Chrisley didn't reveal the age of her new beau, she reassured that he's younger than her father, who's 57.

"Age gap relationships are the new thing. You're going to see it everywhere," Chrisley said. "There are all these couples that are huge age gap relationships, but it just works. It's insane."
"[In age gap relationships], you're not dealing with insecurity," she explained. "For me, I'm not dealing with the insecurity of a younger guy who's trying to keep up. Honestly, it's the healthiest relationship I've ever been in."
Elsewhere in the episode, Chrisley described her boyfriend as "the calmest, sweetest human being in the entire world." She explained that for the first time in her life, she is with someone who wants her to do what she wants to do.
"He's my biggest cheerleader," Chrisley said. "He's not intimidated by my success, which is so great."
"I feel like so many women in today's day and age are the primary breadwinners for their family, and they feel like they have to dim their light in order to make their partner feel better. And I'm like no," she continued. "First off, he does way better than I do. And I love that because I'm like, 'You're not intimidated by me. You think what I do is great. You don't try to stifle me.'"

The Chrisley Knows Best star said that the support and safety her boyfriend provides is what makes their relationship different from her previous ones. Chrisley explained that when he moved to Nashville, where she lives, she noticed she felt more exhausted than usual.
"I'm like, 'Why am I so exhausted?'" she shared. "I'm going to therapy and my therapist is like, 'Because for the first time in your life you actually feel safe, so your nervous system is just like crashing.' And I'm like, makes sense."

Chrisley met her boyfriend, who works in finance, through the political world of Washington, D.C. They have been dating for a year, and she said she thinks he's "The One."
During the May 19 episode of her Unlocked with Savannah Chrisleypodcast, Chrisley revealed that she has been in a serious relationship and called her boyfriend "the epitome of a perfect partner."
"I am dating someone. I am extremely happy and extremely fulfilled in life," she said. "I feel like where I am at in life is the moment that I had always dreamt of but never thought was possible."
"I am with someone who loves me, respects me. He's my biggest cheerleader," Chrisley continued. "When it comes to my business, he is helping me grow it. He's absolutely brilliant. He is just a kind, decent man. Heck, he's far more than decent."
Chrisley noted that she intends to keep her relationship largely private and most likely won't disclose his identity "until after I'm married."
She first hinted at her relationship earlier this year when she shared a mirror selfie holding a man's hand without showing his face or tagging him.
"I've spent a lot of my life being the strong one… the protector, the 'alpha' because I had to be," she wrote alongside the March 1 Instagram post. "But a good man doesn't compete with a strong woman. He honors her, protects her, and gives her the safety to be soft."
