Rachel Bilson and Wilson Bethel reunited for the 15th anniversary of Hart of Dixie.
The stars reflected on their characters' tumultuous journey.
Bethel predicts the pair is back together after four divorces.
Rory Gilmore had Jess. Elena Gilbert had Damon. And Zoe Hart had Wade.
Every comfort show needs a slightly unstable, chemistry-driven romance, and for Hart of Dixie, Zoe and Wade are a masterpiece — even 15 years later.
Rachel Bilson and Wilson Bethel reunited at PlutoTV's 15th anniversary celebration of the heartwarming show, alongside cast mates Jaime King and Kaitlyn Black.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bilson and Bethel pondered where their characters' relationship stands today. "I think they've had more kids because, you know, they're in Bluebell. What else are they gonna do?" Bilson shared. "I'd love to see where they are in 2026, that'd be super fun."

Bethel, on the other hand, paints a little more color to their happy ending. "I think Wade and Zoe are together again after having been divorced, like, four times," he suggested.
Bilson laughed at Bethel's conclusion and conceded, saying, "You're not wrong."

Hart of Dixie Season 1 initially set the stage for a George (Scott Porter) and Zoe endgame, but somewhere along the way, Wade and Zoe's chemistry undeniably sped the relationship into the lead.

"I don't remember when the decision was made. I think it was a natural progression because Wilson and I were having so much fun on screen together — not that Scott and I weren't because those scenes were amazing, too," Bilson shared. "I think people always like when you go for the bad boy or the unexpected choice. I think that really fueled the flame in that direction."
For four seasons, Zoe and Wade took us through a tumultuous journey of love, heartbreak and reconciliation (and then, back through the same cycle again). Ultimately, the "will they/ won't they" saga culminated with the pair engaged following the birth of their first child, Jack Harley Kinsella.

"I think it's been a roller-coaster, man," Bethel shared. "I'm still rooting for them, but they're not the easy couple."
It's a good thing "easy" never made for good TV.
All four seasons of Hart of Dixie are streaming on Netflix and PlutoTV.
