Princess Eugenie has welcomed her third child - a daughter - announcing that she and husband Jack Brooksbank are "beyond in love" with their new arrival.
The youngest daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, who already shares two sons with her husband Jack Brooksbank, revealed the news with a photograph of the newborn alongside a post on Instagram.
The message said: "Jack and I are so excited to announce Baby Girl Brooksbank! ! We are beyond in love with our girlie."

The couple has not yet revealed the baby's name.
Buckingham Palace also released a statement confirming the birth:"Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter, born on Monday, 3rd August 2026, at 6.20pm, at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal."

"The baby was born weighing 6 pounds 9 ounces. Their Majesties the King and Queen and other members of The Royal Family were delighted to be informed of the news," reports the Mirror.
Eugenie and Jack divide their time between the U.K. and Portugal, where Jack is employed. It is understood they are profoundly appreciative of the hospital staff for their care and are taking time to settle on a name for their daughter while bonding with sons, August and Ernest.
The newborn, who will not hold HRH status or receive a royal title, arrives as 15th in the line of succession, pushing their great uncle Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh, down to 16th position. The child also becomes the 15th great-grandchild of the late Queen Elizabeth II, and the third born following her passing in 2022.

The baby marks the fifth grandchild for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, the former Duke and Duchess of York, following the arrival of her elder sister Princess Beatrice's daughter Athena Mapelli Mozzi in January of last year.
Eugenie announced her third pregnancy in early May through an official statement from Buckingham Palace, which noted that the King was "delighted" by the news. The princess and the Palace shared an endearing photograph of her two sons examining a printed ultrasound image.
Prior to having their children, Eugenie and her husband Jack exchanged vows in 2018 during an elaborate ceremony at Windsor Castle - mere months following the marriage of her cousin Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The wedding was attended by the late Queen, the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with celebrity guests including Robbie Williams and Ellie Goulding.
Jack received his education at Stowe private school in Buckinghamshire before launching directly into the hospitality industry. His career included positions at London venues Mahiki and Peyote, before securing employment at Chelsea's Tonteria through Guy Pelly - a businessman and intimate friend of Princes William and Harry.
He previously served as European brand director for Casamigos Tequila, which is owned by Hollywood actor George Clooney - though he now divides his time between the UK and Portugal.
The infant's arrival follows just weeks after Eugenie and her sister Beatrice appeared to be welcomed back into royal circles, joining the Royal Family at the wedding of their cousin Peter Phillips - after disclosures concerning their parents.
