Patrick Mahomes' mom Randi celebrated his upcoming 10th season in the NFL with a heartfelt post on Instagram on Wednesday, June 10
"These years in the NFL have flown by, but watching you step into your purpose and chase your dreams has never stopped feeling special.š¤," Randi wrote
The mother of three said she's "so proud of the man you are, on and off the field" in her post
Patrick Mahomes' mom Randi is endlessly proud of him.
As the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback prepares for his upcoming 10th season in the NFL, Randi penned a special tribute to Patrick on social media on Wednesday, June 10.
"These years in the NFL have flown by, but watching you step into your purpose and chase your dreams has never stopped feeling special.š¤," Randi began in the post alongside a carousel of seven photos of their family, including Patrick's wife Brittany Mahomes.
"Looking back through these photos just reminds me how far you've come and how much heart you've put into every single season. I am so proud of the man you are, on and off the field. Here's to your 10th year!," Randi continued. "To years of dedication, resilience, doing what you love, and to many more chapters ahead! I love you!"

Chiefs fans showed their support on Randi's post and shared their excitement for the upcoming season. "It's been a great 10 years We've loved following the journey and cheering for #15 and the Chiefs," wrote one fan.
NFL insiders Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter reported on Wednesday that the Chiefs added two more seasons onto Mahomes' contract, tying him to Kansas City through the 2033 season at a value of $504.75 million. This is the first NFL deal valued at over a half-billion dollars, according to ESPN.

Mahomes, who has played his entire career with the Chiefs since being drafted in 2017, is set to return to the field in 2026 after tearing his ACL last year.
An exact date for the quarterback to return to the field has not yet been made known, but conspiracy theories began swirling that he'd be ready to go when the season started after the schedule showed the Chiefs playing two primetime games in the first two weeks.

Fans assumed that the primetime scheduling meant the league had inside knowledge that Mahomes would return, but the NFL shut down that rumor in a statement to the on May 15. "We didn't know anything more than anyone else," said NFL executive Hans Schroeder.
In 2024, Randi recalled a young Patrick being her "little best friend" as a kid. "We were together 24/7, and I learned with him. He made me grow up in a good way, in a great way. Being a mother is my favorite thing sometimes, and sometimes it's hard, but it is my favorite thing, and I always say, 'Where would I be without it?'"
