Pat Sajak has broken his months-long silence, providing a life update to fans.
The beloved television host left Wheel of Fortune in 2024, following the series' 41st season. The following year, Sajak also stepped away from Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, ceasing all his hosting duties. The 79-year-old spent 40 years on Wheel of Fortune but reportedly left because of several personal and professional reasons. Firstly, Sajak explicitly stated in interviews that he wanted to retire while the show was still successful and before he stayed too long. He noted that he would rather leave "a couple of years too early than a couple of years too late."
Moreover, after a major health scare in 2019 involving emergency intestinal surgery, Sajak began rethinking his long-term priorities. He expressed a strong desire to spend more time with his family, enjoy his personal life, do crossword puzzles, and be a grandfather. However, Sajak has blessed fans with an update on his life, and it looks like he's thriving post-Wheel of Fortune. Taking to social media, Sajak shared a video titled, "Update on life..." with the former host being seen wearing a summery outfit while he's standing in a stunning tropical garden. "Hi, I know many of you have been wondering, been asking how I've been doing, and I'm enjoying life," Sajak said. He then pointed to the palm trees and ocean, joking, "I've moved here to Montana, and everything is going just great." It comes after Sajak was branded a "coward" as he announced his presidential endorsement.

Sajak's life update continued: "So, I just wanted to say hello. You'll have to excuse me, I have cattle to attend to. Here, boy!" he concluded, walking off camera, as a cow mooed in the background.

Sajak's followers commented on the video, laughing at his joke about Montana, as one wrote, "Wtf it looks like that in Montana?"
Another then penned, "Bro had me second-guessing my geography for a sec," while a third chimed in to say, "Wow! I did not know that Montana had palm trees and beaches," with a laughing face emoji.
Others praised the television veteran's "wit," remarking, "This video underscores your signature dry wit. Enjoy your well-deserved retirement."
"I grew up in Montana! You found my favorite part of the state, but we try to keep it a secret so it doesn't become too popular so shhhhh!" joked another fan, as a final one concluded, "We miss you, Pat! Well-deserved retirement! P.S. Please do a cameo on the show someday!"
Pat's video comes as Wheel of Fortune's Vanna White faced horrific trolling, with her fans coming out in support to defend the television star.
