Michelle Pfeiffer is saying bye-bye to the big screen.

The Golden Globe-winning actress revealed that she is done starring in movies following the success of her most recent television projects, *The Madison** *and *Margo’s Got Money Troubles*.

“I never want to star in another movie, I swear to God,” Pfeiffer said over the weekend at *The Hollywood Reporter* and Apple TV’s Leading the Narrative: The Women of Apple TV event, per the outlet. “I only want to do ensemble pieces. It’s so much more fun, I love it so much.”

The declaration may come as a surprise given that Pfeiffer, a three-time Oscar nominee, has an impressive array of film credits, like *Scarface*, *Tequila Sunrise, The Witches of Eastwick*,* Dangerous Liaisons, Married to the Mob*,* The Fabulous Baker Boys, Batman Returns, The Age of Innocence*,* Dangerous Minds*,* Hairspray, Stardust,* and the *Ant-Man* films.

However, over the last year, Pfeiffer has struck television gold with *The Madison* and *Margo’s Got Money Troubles*, with the latter earning her an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series. (And, honestly, she was snubbed for her *Madison* performance.) Not only does Pfeiffer star on and executive-produce both projects, but they’ve also already been greenlit for a second season (and even third* *in *The Madison*’s case).

*Margo’s Got Money Troubles* follows a young single mom (Elle Fanning) who decides to open an OnlyFans account in order to provide for herself and her child. Pfeiffer plays Fanning’s mom. The comedy also stars Nick Offerman, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, and Nicole Kidman.

“I’ve just been so bowled over by the female performances on television and honestly, they’re just really owning TV,” Pfeiffer told her fellow Emmy nominees Elle Fanning, Dale Dickey, Karolina Wydra, Rhea Seehorn, and Jessica Williams at the panel.

“I love how complicated and flawed all these characters are, and it really reminds me of that famous Robin Williams quote where he says, ‘Remember that everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about, and be kind,’” she continued. “That kind of, for me, sums up the show and the message of the show, and I’m really proud to be a part of it.”

On the drama side, Pfeiffer also headlines *The Madison,* which follows the affluent Clyburn family as they travel to Montana following the unexpected death of patriarch Preston (Kurt Russell). The actress stars as Preston’s grieving widow Stacy, alongside costars Elle Chapman, Beau Garrett, Amiah Miller, and more.

In *’s* cover story, Pfeiffer revealed that she signed onto *The Madison *without ever seeing an official script, instead trusting writer Taylor Sheridan’s vision for the project after he gave her a “skeletal” overview of its heartbreaking premise. She added at the time that the *Yellowstone* creator “wanted to cast it first and then write around [us]” for the parts.

The Western, which has already filmed its second season, was greenlit for a third before its second has even premiered. A release date for the season 2 has not been announced.
