Jackson and Turner-Smith enjoyed some downtime in the Caribbean with 6-year-old Juno.

The exes, who welcomed daughter Juno in April 2020, reunited for a family vacation at the Four Seasons Resort Nevis in the Caribbean, according to photos shared by Turner-Smith. “Dreamy days at @fsnevis #FSNevis,” she wrote alongside a carousel of photos from their trip to the West Indies.

In one photo, Jackson could be seen holding 6-year-old Juno on his lap while she wore a white dress and hair bow. In other snaps, Juno could be seen posing with her mom and running through the sandy beaches.

Turner-Smith also shared videos of monkeys on the island, as well as the sights and hotel amenities. In a black-and-white picture, the *Queen & Slim *star held up heart hands alongside her daughter.

Jackson and Turner-Smith met in 2018 and married in August 2018. Three years after giving birth to Juno, Turner-Smith filed for divorce in October 2023.

During a visit to Hoda Kotb‘s *Joy 101 *podcast in June, the model and actress shared that she and Jackson have been very intentional when it comes to speaking to Juno about their split.

“I’m a child of divorce myself and so is my ex husband,” Turner-Smith told Kotb. “So it’s like it’s always been important to think about, ‘Okay, what is the language around which we are going to talk about this with our daughter?’ Because it is her new reality.”

She continued, “We’re learning as well and not always getting it totally right — but the idea is always two homes filled with love. And I’m like, ‘You got two houses, girl.’”

Turner-Smith went on to say that because Juno was just 3 years old when they split, the biggest challenge continues to be “navigating the conversation with her that’s like, ‘Why is this happening?’”

She said she always tries to keep their conversations about it “age appropriate and child-centered” but at the same time “real, so that she has an understanding of what this means.”

Despite disagreements following their divorce, the former couple now share joint legal and physical custody of Juno and use a private judge for ongoing negotiations.

Jackson spoke of his love of parenthood on Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s *Dinner’s on Me** *podcast in April 2025.

“I am surprised at how much of the experience of fatherhood is self-healing,” he said. “It’s my job, shared with my ex-wife, to do everything we can to nurture you, cultivate you, and give you all the tools you need in life. But man, it is not lost on me that I am getting an opportunity to experience a father’s love in a way that I never experienced it.”

He added, “My father’s response to difficulty was to run away. And instead of doing that, I’ve had the opportunity to give my daughter the opposite experience.”
