Jerry Hall has very different relationships with the men she's loved.
Speaking with British Vogue about her latest chapter as she turns 70 on July 2, the model and actress explained that her relationship with Mick Jagger has improved after decades of anger.
Hall complimented Jagger for how involved he and fiancée Melanie Hamrick, 38, are with their grandchildren, sharing, "He comes out here quite a bit, Sunday lunch, him and Mel and their son, Dev. They're so sweet."
They've even been able to spend holidays as a blended family, something that Hall credits to the fact that "Mick's a great diplomat."

"All the kids love each other. All the mothers of the kids love each other. It's just odd, isn't it? Just worked out that way."
Jagger and Hall share daughters Elizabeth, 42, and Georgia May, 34, and sons James, 40, and Gabriel, 28. Jagger is also father to daughter Karis, 55, with actress Marsha Hunt; daughter Jade, 53, with ex-wife Bianca Jagger; son Lucas, 27, with model Luciana Morad Gimenez; and son Deveraux, 8, with Hamrick.
Of the evolution of her relationship with Jagger, Hall notes, "He and I get on really well. I can only think nice things about him. You know, when you're young, people get crushes on people and do stupid things all the time, don't they? God, I'm so lucky that it doesn't happen to me anymore – hardly."

"Not all exes you want to be friends with, do you? Some people aren't friendly," she continued. "But I think when you have children with someone, it's important to be friendly."

After a pause, she told the outlet, "Rupert, we were married 6½ years and no children, and so, you know."
Asked if they ever spend time together now, Hall said she hasn't seen Murdoch "in a couple of years. Since the divorce," also noting that divorces are "always traumatic."
After a six-year marriage, Murdoch and Hall divorced in 2022. In a joint statement, their attorneys, Robert S. Cohen and Judith L. Poller, said the former couple "remain good friends and wish each other the best for the future."

The piece also notes that while some details of the pair's divorce remain private, one leak alleges that the terms of the divorce included "stipulations such as that she was on no account to give information to the makers of Succession."
Hall briefly commented that the period of the marriage and divorce was "Quite tiring," noting that she feels better with the pace of life today.
"Things are calmer now. It's lovely."
