After Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams were spotted walking the streets of Toronto ahead of filming *Heated Rivalry* season 2, the team behind the hit show relayed a message to the die-hard fanbase.

“If you happen to come across one of our filming locations, please give our cast and crew the space they need to do what they do best,” read a statement from production company Accent Aigu Entertainment, released on Tuesday over social media. “We promise it’ll be worth the wait.”

Both Storrie and Williams, who became overnight sensations worldwide as a result of season 1, faced overwhelming public attention from paparazzi and fans.

Williams’ appearance on *The Tonight Show* led to a flood of people waiting outside NBC headquarters at 30 Rock in New York City that host Jimmy Fallon likened to Beatlemania. Storrie’s presence for *Saturday Night Live* hosting duties last February resulted in similar fervor.

Lately, however, there has been a lot of conversation around such interactions. An example: A video circulated of Williams confronting aggressive autograph resellers in Paris who, the actor said in the footage, weren’t real fans who followed him to his residence.

The production team on *Heated Rivalry* season 2 are likely anticipating similar attention in Toronto as the little production that could starts rolling cameras again. Filming will begin this month.

“To our incredible fans and everyone who’s been sharing in the excitement for the show: Your support, enthusiasm, and kindness have meant the world to us,” the statement from Accent Aigu Entertainment continued. “As we gear up for more *Heated Rivalry*, please help us in making it the best it can be.”

Season 2 of *Heated Rivalry* will now begin to adapt material from author Rachel Reid’s books *The Long Game* and *Role Model*, as TV’s Shane Hollander (Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Storrie) attempt to navigate their relationship behind closed doors.

Troy Barrett, a new hockey player described by showrunner Jacob Tierney as “quite damaged,” will be introduced this season, as well as Harris Drover, the social media manager for Ilya’s new team, the Ottawa Centaurs. Casting for those roles has not been formally revealed, though rumors are swirling online about the actors’ identities.

*Heated Rivalry* season 2 is expected to premiere sometime in the spring of 2027 on Crave and HBO Max.
