Maples also previously opened up about reaching the milestone age of 60 and how the new chapter of her life has inspired her to focus on giving back and discovering her purpose.

Speaking to Woman's World, she said, "With this birthday, look at life more like, 'Okay, God, what do you have next for me?' I pray: How can I give more? What can I do more to share the gifts that I was given-the God-gifts? Let me be ready. Let me let me do the work that I came here to do. Let me go joyfully and give me the passion for it."

Maples continued, "We're faced with so many challenges - I feel that too. There's a lot of things that are polluting our emotional well-being in the world right now, so I try to I look at every day as a new opportunity. So with a milestone like this birthday, I just want to be ready to share more and expand and learn more."

Her relationship with Donald Trump began while he was still married to his first wife, Ivana Trump. The pair first met in 1984 and went on to have a highly publicised relationship before welcoming their daughter, Tiffany Trump, on October 13, 1993.

According to Maples, the 1993 Long Island Rail Road shooting prompted Trump to reflect on his life and later propose to her. The couple married on December 20, 1993, in a ceremony at New York's Plaza Hotel attended by around 1,000 guests.

However, their marriage later came to an end, with Maples and Trump separating in May 1997.

It comes after Marla Maples showed her true colors about ex Trump with a telling post.
