We’ve been waiting for this moment. Last night, Carey Mulligan attended the Season 2 premiere of Beef in a Dries Van Noten look we’ve been dreaming of since Julian Klausner’s Fall 2026 collection walked during Paris Fashion Week.

The look, styled by Danielle Goldberg, was composed of a strapless two-tone brocade bodice and a long pixelated skirt, merging vintage-inspired details with something undeniably modern.

The top, a structured empire-waist piece crafted from gold and teal floral fabrics, reached the hips, layering over the skirt to give the appearance of a low-rise hem. From there, a medley of burgundy, green, and rosy pink took over, reducing a classic Flemish oil painting down to a collection of large pixels.

For the premiere, Goldberg and Mulligan paired the ensemble with gold Gianvito Rossi sandals—shiny stiletto heels that lifted the skirt. As for jewelry, they kept things light, with simple (though sparkly) Briony Raymond diamond studs set with a gold trim. As for glam, the actor let her short blonde bob down and kept her makeup natural and minimal—allowing the statement runway fit take center stage.

Created by Lee Sung Jin, the second season of Beef will be available to stream on April 16, a full three years after the first season aired. Mulligan—who just a week ago was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire(CBE) by King Charles III for her astounding work in cinema and television—stars in the project alongside Oscar Isaac, Charles Melton, Cailee Spaeney, and Youn Yuh-jung.
