Ashley Judd shared a playful Instagram video embracing midlife as part of the "We Do Not Care Club"

The video featured Judd splashing in the Baltic Sea, creating seaweed accessories, and joking about "making stuff up"

The social media movement, started by content creator Melani Sanders, encourages women to celebrate aging and reject societal pressures

Ashley Judd is going to frolic in the ocean in her bathing suit — and crown herself a "lady of the sea" — and she doesn't care what you think about it.

The Lazarethactress, 58, shared a video of herself splashing around at the beach on Instagram on Thursday, June 11, dubbing the video, "We Don't Care Club: Baltic Sea Edition." It's part of an ongoing series of contributions to content creator Melani Sanders' social media movement, the "We Do Not Care Club," which celebrates women approaching midlife.

"As always, thank you, @justbeingmelani, for this glorious movement," Judd, who has shared previous videos as part of the movement, wrote in the caption for the whimsical video, in which she added her own layer: "the MSU club,"  short for "Making Stuff Up."

"This installment is a healing tonic for a grave condition that often plagues adults and the overly serious: 'Know-It-All-itis,' " Judd quipped in the caption. In the video, she splashes in the waves, joking, "The good news is when it's shallow you don't get as much sand in your crotch."

She also picked up some seaweed, dubbing it "salad" as part of making stuff up. She turned the seaweed into a bracelet before using it as a makeshift crown and dubbing herself a "lady of the sea."

Judd ended the video by diving into the "very cold" waves — but made sure to end the video with one more made-up fact about the anemones. "They're on vacation," Judd said. "They go to Florida."

The Double Jeopardy actress has been celebrating all eras of her life in recent months. In May, she shared that she threw a birthday party for her "inner 12-year-old" to celebrate her 58th birthday on April 19.

"Many of us grew up with unmet needs," Judd wrote in the caption of an Instagram carousel. "Today, as adults, we can listen carefully to those missings, identify what happened that should not have happened — and, crucially, what did not happen that should have happened — supplying that, now, with love and humor to ourselves."
