Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s fight over their French winery will reportedly drag on even longer. After years of legal back-and-forth regarding Chateau Miraval, a new court filing allegedly shows Pitt’s side resisting against Jolie’s latest request to delay the trial again.

The former couple bought the property during their marriage and later turned it into a major wine business. Pitt sued Jolie in 2022 in relation to the same, claiming she sold her stake without his approval.

RadarOnline obtained the court filing of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s French winery case. The outlet exclusively reported that Pitt has claimed Jolie sold her share of the winery to the liquor company Stoli without his approval.

Now, Jolie has asked to move that trial date to November 2027, citing the need for more time to prepare. The case has reportedly already faced multiple delays, and RadarOnline reported that the trial is currently scheduled for February next year.

Pitt reportedly strongly objected to the delay in a new status report, arguing that the case has already taken years and that the dispute has created ongoing problems for both the property and the entire business. He allegedly wants the court to be strict and close the matter rather than extend the timeline again.

Jolie’s legal team, in turn, disputed Pitt’s position. They reportedly argued that the case grew more complicated because of choices made in the legal strategy, while rejecting the idea that the court fight had prevented him from using the home.

A source close to Pitt told RadarOnline, “Ten years of fighting is long enough.” They added, “His and Angelina’s reputations have both been damaged by this conflict.”

Moreover, they stressed, “No matter how much time and money Brad has plowed into the fight, this has to stop.” The insider further claimed, “Both sides have made their points, and it’s time to put the whole lawsuit to bed.”

Right now, the next step is for the court to take as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie argue over timing.
