- Alec Baldwin’s daughter Ireland is addressing her contentious relationship with Perez Hilton.

- Her post comes one day after police were dispatched to the Miami home of Hilton, who appeared to self-harm during a livestream video.

- “I hope he gets the help he needs and heals,” wrote Ireland, who also dubbed the celebrity blogger “a despicable human being.”

Despite the years-long tension between them, Ireland Baldwin is extending her best wishes to Perez Hilton.

On Wednesday, the model and actress, daughter of Alec Baldwin, acknowledged her contentious relationship with the controversial celebrity blogger while addressing reports that Hilton was hospitalized one night prior, after appearing to attempt self-harm during a livestream from his Miami home.

“Perez Hilton has [publicly] humiliated my family for years,” Ireland, 30, began her Instagram Stories post. “[He has] sexualized me from a young age, commented on my weight and body (as a child), made unforgivable comments about people in my family, drew j!zz [sic] coming out of my mom’s and friend’s mouths, and has always been a despicable human being.”

She continued, “But his children deserve better and a healthy father and I am so sad for all of them. I hope he gets the help he needs and heals.”

On Tuesday evening, clips of Hilton, 48, naked and covered in blood began circulating on social media, stemming from a TikTok stream in which he was captured holding a knife with visible cuts on his body. The video was soon pulled from the platform, and as it circulated online, multiple calls were made to local police, a detective with the Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Public Affairs Office later told **.

Deputies visited Hilton’s home that evening, where they spoke with family members before he was ultimately “transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a local hospital” to receive medical attention.

In a statement to EW, Hilton’s agents Dante Rusciolelli and Rebekah Kochan confirmed they were aware of the situation but, as of Tuesday night, had not made “direct contact” with Perez despite their repeated efforts to reach him.

“Our primary concern is Perez’s health and well being, as well as the well being of his family,” they continued in a statement. “Until we have confirmed information, we will not speculate or comment further. We appreciate everyone’s concern and ask that his privacy be respected during this time.”

On Wednesday, Hilton’s family put out a statement confirming that he is receiving “medical care” and asking for privacy during a difficult time.

“Many of you have reached out with concern for Perez, and we are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming outpouring of love, support, and prayers,” the statement read, in part, adding, “Our family’s focus right now is on his well-being.”

Hilton, born Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr., made a name for himself in the early 2000s by publicizing and, at times, belittling celebrities as a tabloid blogger. He cemented himself as a controversial figure and has repeatedly been slammed as “cruel“ by some stars and criticized by the LGBTQ+ community for outing queer celebrities. Alex Baldwin, his wife Hilaria and the couple’s eight children — including Ireland, who Baldwin shares with ex-wife Kim Basinger — were among the stars that Hilton often commented on.

After suffering a health scare earlier this year, Hilton issued a public apology for his “selfish” behavior as a blogger.

“I didn’t care who I hurt, I just cared about the views, the attention, the money — people hated me,”  Hilton said in the video. “Some people enjoyed it, but it felt like most people hated me.”

At the time, he resolved to begin “doing things differently than before,” citing his health scare as a reason for the change.
