Alec Baldwin is floating the idea of adding a new member to the family.

In a new joint post shared to Instagram on Monday, Aug. 3, the 68-year-old Golden Globe-winning actor and father of eight jokingly suggested that he and his wife Hilaria Baldwin have another child.

“I would do anything for you,” Hilaria, 42, mouthed in the clip, sitting poolside in a bikini next to her husband.

“Have another baby with me,” he replied with a grin.

The video, set to a version of Olivia Newton-John’s “Hopelessly Devoted To You,” sees Hilaria go from dreamy to seemingly disgusted in a matter of seconds after his suggestion as she pushes the camera and runs away.

“When ‘I’d do anything for you’ meets reality with its terms and conditions … 😂,” she captioned the post.

“Run Hilaria run!!!! 🏃‍♀️😂,” one person commented.

Alec shares seven children with Hilaria, in addition to daughter Ireland Baldwin, 30, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

After tying the knot in 2012, the 30 Rock alum and the former yoga instructor welcomed three daughters, Carmen Gabriela, María Lucía Victoria, and Ilaria Catalina Irena, and four sons, Rafael Thomas, Leonardo Ángel Charles, Romeo Alejandro David and Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas.

Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE in February 2025, the couple said they’ve had conversations about more kids, though it doesn’t seem like it will be a reality.

“I don’t really want one,” the Boss Baby star said, adding that “every now and then, when the baby gets older and grows up to be about 2, I look at [Hilaria] and I go, ‘Time to have another.’”

“They’re so cute, but my body’s really tired,” Hilaria said.

The Emmy-winning actor joked about their large family, saying he would love to be on a yacht “having dinner with Spielberg or whatever,” as Hilaria interjected, “Instead we’re changing diapers!”

“This is my reality,” Alec said. “I wouldn’t change anything.”

Their TLC reality series The Baldwins followed the lives of the busy parents and their “wild family” consisting of seven kids under the age of 12 and six animals.

In June, he shared his hopes for his children as they grow up.

“Well, for a while, I thought I just wanted [them] to push my wheelchair. I say I want you guys to work out and get strong cuz you’re going to be pushing the old man in my chair before long,” he told E! News. “But, I want my kids to grow up having hope because right now it’s more hopeless than I’ve ever seen.”

“I mean, kids have a latent learning curve. They get it,” Alec added. “It might not be on the tip of their tongue for their daily rhetoric, but they get it. And ... we’ve got to continue to fight to prove to our children that you got to keep fighting. You’ve got to have hope, and you’ve got to keep fighting to take the reins of power in our society and that responsibility, that awesome responsibility away, from people who are going to abuse it.”
